Description: Cloud drove the transformation from servers to data center. AI is driving the transformation from cloud to a tightly coupled AI factory. This talk will look at how the Gigawatt AI Factory requirements are reshaping the data center, system architecture and software as we live through one of the greatest inflection points in history.

Bio: Brad graduated from The University of Arizona with a BS degree in computer engineering (magna cum laude, with honors) in 1997 and received a master's degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He spent 27 years at Intel, mostly in Boston, designing and then architecting a variety of system-on-chip (SOCs) for the data center. Some career highlights were when Brad led the architecture for Avoton (the first data center SoC and the first time an Atom/Xeon-E core was used outside of client), Cedar Fork (the first Atom/Xeon converged platform controller hub) and the Intel IPU Mount Evans - the data processing unit on every Google server. In 2025, Brad left Intel as a senior fellow and joined NVIDIA to work for DGX Cloud. He is a horizontal system architect working delivering AI infrastructure to NVIDIA AI researchers and the DSX OS team, and helping the AI ecosystem externally.
